Looks, Design, Build and Appearance: As its name gives you better idea, yes DELL XPS M1330 is built with 13 inch wide screen display. Its build is the major factor for its success over the year, as it is thin, sleek and really light weight notebook. To be really precise its weight is even less than 4 lbs. it is 0.9 inches thick, with LED backlit display, its small compact look and style makes it a perfect notebook for those who likes to carry their notebooks with them, everywhere they go.  I must say when we talk about XPS M330’s design, it is absolutely stunning, and it is available in 3 different colors. All the media buttons on the edges are touch sensitive, and when they are touched or pressed they get a slow glowing backlight which dissolves within a second. The Keyboard is silver colored which suits perfectly to the outer body color and gives is a decent professional look. Now let’s move on the newly added Hinge look, it is really unique. On the top edge on the display screen, its 2.0 Megapixel Web Camera is located.

Screen & Speakers: DELL XPS M1330 is equipped with 13 inch wide display screen with WXGA standard feature. Its picture quality is quite incredible as its glossy display screen is quite able to produce good quality Video and image output. While testing it with HD movie prints, I was quite pleased with the results and performance. Now moving on the speakers and sound quality, and I must say I was impressed during its test, its speakers are placed just on top of the keyboard, near to media buttons. Its sounds system is not that loud, but when quality matters, it’s quite good enough with size f the notebook. On the other way it has Microphone and headphone jack, which can be used to even better audio and sound quality with ear buds.

Keyboard & touchpad specification: Keyboards is well designed as I have described earlier, it is grey colored and keys are well managed and have proper spaces between each other for convenient and fast typing. So I think there isn’t much to talk about it, it’s simply perfectly designed. Talking about touchpad, well its smooth and easy to navigate with curser, it has vertical and horizontal scroll which is quite smooth and easy o work with. But still I must say that you guys should go for Bluetooth mouse or USB Mouse for proper usages.

Camera: XPS M1330 is equipped with VGA web Camera with the capacity of 2 megapixels. Its colors, contrast and brightness features are quite good. Its camera is quite good enough for usually webcam chats and minimal notebook Photo captures. During my test I found images and pictures I captured with its camera were quite good, and video recording was good as well.

Battery: Yes its battery is the most impressive feature I found in it, it has 9-cell battery which is capable for 4 hours and 50 minutes battery life. So it’s quite a good for those use notebooks while traveling. When I was testing its battery life while watching HD Movies it ended till nearly 3 hours, which is quite impressive as well. So I think it’s a power pack notebook with great performance, looks and battery life.

Performance and Productivity: Well we have described every single aspect and feature of this incredible notebook has. I must say that XPS M1330 is an incredibly built notebook with style, sleek looks, Performance and productivity at the same time. It’s capable for every possible performance that a usual notebook should have. With Intel core 2 duo T7300 processor [2.0Ghz] and 3 GB of RAM it’s a perfect notebook. And additionally it has Nvidia Geforce Go 8400M GS graphic card which is just perfect for high end graphics, gaming and cutting edge 3d technology for Windows Aero user interface.  I purchased this notebook for its great look, thin structure and high end performance, and believe me my every dime spent on it worth it perfectly. It really delivers, with great looks and performances.

Design and Looks: As I have mentioned earlier that dell was a brand name associated with ugly looking bulky notebooks with good performance, but they have proved everybody wrong, with their new Studio series notebooks, as they are able to produce great performances and it is sleek and stylish as well. Certainly make Dell a great choice for looks and styles oriented notebook users. Studio 17 looks like they have updated DELL XPS M 1530, but it is more aimed towards solid design and construction. Its 17 inches wide screen can be a bit larger for those mobility based users, but it could be a perfect desktop replacement notebook as well. As I have mentioned that Studio 17 notebooks seems to be highly inspired with DELL XPS series laptop because it has almost same feel and look like well designed hinges, touch sensitive media buttons, Matte finish colors on outer Body. Dell have launched Studio 17 with 7 colors option for their customers that includes Flamingo Pink, Midnight Blue, Tangerine Orange, Plum Purple, Ruby Red, Spring Green and default standard Jet black. It has Matte finish color texture just similar to inspiron series notebooks. Overall if we look at the build and design of Studio 17 notebook I must say is quite incredible than their earlier version, they have improved a lot on style, color and those vital aspects that makes Dell’s notebooks stand apart in competition.

Screen, Display and Speakers: As its name gives you better idea, Yes DELL’s Studio 17 has a 17 inch WXGA wide display screen. Dell offers you to go with WXGA Glossy Display with 1440 x 900 resolutions or 1920 x 1200. When I saw my Dell Studio 17 notebook its display screen was looking pretty nice. I must say its 17 inch screen would be ideal for those who use laptops for HD movies with Blu-Ray disks, as it also have option for Blu-ray disk. And for those graphic designers who want to use it for their design work, it suits them perfect as well. Well now let’s move on to the Speakers and studio output of studio 17 notebook, I must say its speakers are quite able to produce good quality sounds and audio output, I have noticed that Dell have improved a lot on speaker since their earlier releases, it has inbuilt subwoofers which makes sounds quality even better. Its speakers are located just above to the keyboard. Can’t describe more on the speaker, must say they are quite good in my opinion. And yes of course it has headphones jack slots available if you still want better and refined sounds solution.

Media Controls, Touchpad and Keyboard: Dell Have produced one of the best keyboards with this Studio 17 notebook. I’m really impressed with key interfaces as it has enough wide space between keys, which makes typing convenient and fast as well. And yes when you’re in dark area or without light it has backlight feature which makes even easier to type in the dark. Well let’s move on to connectivity performance and features available in Dell Studio 17 notebook. It has FireWire 5 USB ports Microphone Jack, 8in one card reader, expressed card slot and Ethernet port. Well yes, it also has Bluetooth device integration as well to connect to your Bluetooth headphones, Mouse and mobile phones as well. Dell Studio has traditional DVD/CD writer Drive and with optional featured for adding “Blu-Ray” disk reader.

Battery Life: 9-cell lithium-ion battery provides excellent battery life for the Studio 17. 9-cell battery delivers more than 2 hours of battery life. With the power management settings set to “power saver” with wireless off and the screen brightness set to 50 percent the 9-cell battery could deliver more than 2 hours and 39 minutes of life. I think it’s quite good as far as it is compared to other notebook’s battery life.

Performance and Productivity: Well what I can say about Studio 17’s productivity and performance, as it’s a power pack well configured notebooks for every aspects. It is well equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 Processor [2.5GHZ], 3GB of Ram which is well enough for every task and vista basic memory usage. Beside that it has 320 GB of Toshiba Hard Disk with 5400 RPM. All these great configuration features makes this notebook a performance based machine with great sleek looks and 17 inches wide Display screen. For Dedicated graphics and addiction memory it has ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics card, which is quite a good source for power gaming and 3D Aero windows interface applications.

Features & performances: As we have discussed earlier that Samsung i8510 is based on Symbian operating system and have pretty much similar features as Nokia N95 have in it. I would like to talk about its Camera first, well nobody ever though that Samsung will release their high resolution camera phone in the market so early, And it is giving really tough competition to all its competitors like Sony Ericsson and Nokia which recently launched their 5 mega pixel Camera phones. The i8510 makes camera phones closer to interface that dedicated camera have. Samsun i8510 have a button upfront which activates the camera, open up the lens cover, and shifts between camera, video and the gallery. Quality of Pictures is incredible and video recording as well; it’s a complete package for those who love mobile phone photography.

Multimedia and Music Player: Great benefits of wide and large phone is that they can fit a large LCD display, and Samsung i8510 have definitely made the most of the available space with a high-resolution QVGA display measuring 2.8 inches across, and displaying 16 million colours, makes it really next to perfect smart phone. On the other hand when we talk about its Music Playback capabilities, it is as incredible as its other features are. Its music player can manage and handle all sorts of popular Music file formats [MP3, OGG, ACC, WMA etc.] it has also a FM radio Inbuilt with 3D surround sound. We must say that its music capabilities are as same as all the smart phones have. Its music playback also support DivX playback, so makes it even more compact phone. Although It has 8 GB inbuilt memory which can store over 2000 Mp3 songs, but still you guys can store more of your MP3 songs with 16 GB expandable Memory. The i8510 also has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can plug in your own high-quality headphones.

Connectivity, Internet & GPS system: Samsung i8510 have a GPS satellite positioning system, just like Nokia N95, and it’s pretty handy and useful for those who love Google maps and navigation systems on the go. Beside that features, Samsung i8510 is a great platform for internet access, its inbuilt HTML and wap browser has so many unique features which makes the web page layout looks clean and optimized for its LCD screen. The touch-sensitive scroller works really well when browsing the web. With HSDPA enabled download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, you can access web pages pretty fast, and on the other way you guys can now download music and video directly to your mobile phone, no need to download on your pc and then transfer them to you mobile phone. In addition to web access, the phone is able to connect via USB 2.0 or wirelessly via Bluetooth and WiFi. You can use the TV-Out connection to view photos and video directly on your TV. It’s also possible to stream content wirelessly to a compatible PC or laptop using WiFi.

Positives & Drawbacks: There are so many to count when it comes about positives aspects of this incredible phone like GPS system, incredible 8 megapixel camera, excellent web browser and Music Playback, but the only drawback would say is that its battery life isn’t up to the mark, they could have done a bit more on that aspect, cause smart phones are made to live long with their backup battery time. But on a good note I must say it’s an incredible phone for those who love Camera phones.
